We are located in Charlotte, North Carolina, just on the border of South Carolina. Our main sawmill, a state-of-the-art thin kerf band saw produces the highest quality lumber quickly and efficiently. Bryan has been sawmilling for well over a decade and has the knowledge, skills and experience to provide the highest quality product at a good price – your logs or ours. Using specialized milling techniques called grade sawing, we get the highest possible quality lumber.
Our wood slabs are typically used for table-tops, conference tables, bar-tops, coffee tables, fireplace manels, desks, shelves, etc. Each piece is truly one of a kind, expressing the natural origin of the wood. We specialize in unique, uncommon wood – highly figured grain patterns, burl, ambrosia, spalted, etc.

“I’m passionate about what I do. Milling logs is exciting – sawmilling logs feels like unwrapping Christmas presents. You don’t really know what’s inside a log until its cut open and every log is different. Sometimes the beauty and character of the wood is amazing. I really embrace the eco-friendly aspect to sawmilling urban timber. Our natural resources are precious and limited – it makes me sick to think of all the timber clear-cut for development in urban areas that ends its life rotting in a landfill. I feel obligated to do my part as a Sawyer to divert these logs from the landfill and help others appreciate the beauty of wood by upcycling these trees. Once these old growth trees are gone, most won’t be replaced in a lifetime – we should respect that and repurpose them to the greatest potential.” -Bryan Stanley
